Who is a reliable yard fencing company in Georgia?

I%26#039;m looking to get a fence for my yard for a dog, and a baby to run around in.

Best answer to best company.

Thanks!|||If you want unbiased opinions about home improvement contractors, try http://www.angieslist.com This list allows homeowners in 124 major cities to rate the companies that have provided them service. A home improvement company cannot pay to join the service; they can pay to advertise with AngiesList, but all the ratings and reviews are strictly from customers who have used the company%26#039;s services.

Even when using an on-line referral service, I would ask for and call at least 3 references, and possibly drive by to see the job. I would also ask for at least one of those references to be a couple of years old, to see how their jobs hold up over time. Not all problems show themselves before the completion of the work.

When hiring a contractor or any kind, make sure they have the proper license for the work you want them to do, and that they have the proper insurance and bonding as required by the state. You should also make sure you have a written contract stating what work is to be done, what type of materials are to be used, and when the work is to be finished.

And never, never, never pay in full before the job is finished! In CA, a contractor can collect only 10% of the contract, up to a maximum of $1000, as a deposit to start the job. Then if progress payments are to be made, they should keep pace with the work that has been completed. Never let the payments get ahead of the job. In other words, if the job is 1/3 complete, you should have paid NO MORE THAN 1/3 of the entire contract amount.

Good luck with your project.|||There%26#039;s not a whole lot to it. Fencing is very easy to do. I put up my own fence. Just use a string to line up your side to keep it even and plow down and put up posts in each hole and fill it with cement and use a level to kee it straight.

Once it dries the next day you put your fence up and use a puller to stretch it nice and tight and lock it down. It took two people me and my Friend to do my yard and I get compliments all the time.

Put 100% into it and you save money with Do it yourself Fence.
