How to stretch field fencing accross a ditch?

We are going to have to cross a HUGE ditch we we put up our fence. I am not talking street ditches. It is about 20-30 feet across and 10-15 feet deep. How do you do that and keep the tension tight on the fence. I know we can%26#039;t go down then back up the other side. Or can we? (Neighbor tried it, didn%26#039;t work) So if we go straight across the top, how do we fill in the gap on the bottom? |||Take a look at figure 10. I%26#039;m guessing the water passes through your ditch since it is so deep and wide. With the buried weight it will keep the tension and not inhibit the flow of water and it will be less likely to collect debris. If a lot of water moves through the ditch you may want to use to dead weight points to the side of the ditch. Also, be sure to brace the posts at the top of the ditch.
