What is the best way to keep deer from eating plants (without fencing)?

I have a partly shady flower garden backing up to woods.|||They have a motion/sensor sprinkler just for deer and other critters. It works so good. They come near and it starts spraying while the sprinkler rotates %26amp; it noisy too.....I wish I knew the name of it but I am having a brain fart at the time :)|||Hang soap|||A deer stand, a loaded shotgun, and a lot of patience.|||get a dog to scare them off.|||I use a product called Liquid Fence. It is a deer and rabbit repellant. It won%26#039;t harm them, but will keep them from eating your flowers. I have to tell you it has a terrible odor to it when you spray it on.|||Although I haven%26#039;t had to deal with this problem, I%26#039;ve been told that hanging car air fresheners in your trees with discourage their unwanted nibbling.|||Chilly Peppers have them dry up in the sun then

spread them this will help not only to get deers away but also rodents... etc...|||put human hair in nylons and place it where you don%26#039;t want the deer. works wonders and it%26#039;s harmless to the deer.|||tye shiny slilery things such as tin foil to string and hang around your garden|||You can buy liquid or crystalized Coyote Urine. The powdered version works better, lasts longer, and a darn site better to handle than the liquid.

Also you can get a nice batch of red mature hot peppers at the market. In a large pot on the stove, in a well ventilated kitchen, bring to a boil and IMMEDIATELY reduce to a simmer, and continue for 30 mins or more. After it cools you can apply it with a sprayer. You can spray it on the plants and the surrounding area. It won%26#039;t hurt the plants and the critters don%26#039;t like the hot stuff. You will need to re-apply after it rains.

The Coyote crystals will last longer but will cost more.|||Deer repellent sold in most Home Improvement stores.|||I%26#039;ve heard that if you put human hair clippings around the perimeter of the garden the deer will stay away. Not sure if this is a myth or not though..|||Plant things that deer won%26#039;t eat.|||Get security
