Some of the metal post are broken at the ground and others bent real bad from the storms. It%26#039;s the post used around Iowa for snow fencing.|||One way to get the posts out is to use an old fashioned bumper jack.
Farmers use similar method to pull out wooden fence posts. (bigger jacks)
Wrap a chain around the post %26amp; use the jack to pull it up.
If you can bend the tops of the broken ones ,should be ok w/ a little digging.
Good luck.|||Are you planning to replace the fencing? I have some too that I removed the chain link fencing from the posts. My best idea that I am planning on doing is spray painting the posts dark green and then planting tall cedars to hide the posts.
Of course you may use a hacksaw or power tool to remove them completely as well...|||Dig because they probably have a flange under ground that prevents them from easily slipping out.
