About how much would it cost to buy and install 120 yards of iron fencing?

I%26#039;m thinking about 5-6 feet high, iron (or other black metal-esque material, whatever%26#039;s commonly used) fence to keep dogs in the yard. The yard%26#039;s pretty big and part of it%26#039;s on a hill, so the fence would need to go up a hill if that%26#039;s relevant.|||Steel is very high expensive now, the fact that you stated that it has to go up hill also makes it a very special build since the Iron work will have to follow the grade. Most Ornamental Iron fence companies powder coat the fencing rather than painting which also cost more money. The design your looking for seems simple not very custom. When determining a price the material size is very important. for example 1-1/2 x 1-1/2 frame .095 wall 3/4%26quot; pickets .065 2%26quot; x 2%26quot; line posts .120 etc. then the gate, lock type, hinge type etc.

For a custom fence you will be a minimum $ 10,800.00 the way that I would suggest about $17,000.00.|||I sold about 300 feet of used wrought iron fence 6 feet three months ago and got 3000 dollars for it. it is really expensive to purchase new especially if it is special order from a black smith.
