How do you clean a fencing vest?

Thanks in advance!|||Wait, is it a sport fencing vest or a rapier fencing one? That link takes you to a rapier fencing vest (much rarer, and I only know about sport fencing). If it is a sport fencing vest (also called a lam茅), then you should be able to sprinkle it with water or put it in the dishwasher. I wouldn%26#039;t recommend washing it in the washing machine or giving it to the dry cleaners, because the steel is conductive and they probably won%26#039;t have any experience with it.
