We have five acers but fencing is expensive so i need to know the minimum.|||I have 3 Mini donkeys, they are broke to lead and ride and are pretty easy on fences.
We have them in about a 5 acre pasture with 2 sides of 2 string electric wire and the other 2 sides are the cheap woven wire and they have never gotten out.
The 5 acres is MORE than enough pasture for them. They have been out there all spring and summer so far and when they are out there you can only see the tip-tops of their ears over the grass!
Our neighbors down the road have standard and minis and just have the cheapest woven wire on all sides with hedge posts. Metal T posts are SO expensive right now, using hedge posts take more work to put in but would save you a small fortune! they have SEVERAL more than us on about 5 acres.
