skip is fencing in a square area of 576 square feet. Fence posts, which are needed every three feet, cost $32 each. the fencing itself costs $4.50 per foot.|||the area is x虏 = 576 where x is the length of one of the sides
so x = 鈭?76 = 24
there are four sides so the total length of the fence is
4*24 = 96ft
at $4.50 per ft
so the cost of fence is
96*4.50 = $432.00
the posts are each 3ft apart and the length of fence is 96ft
so there are
96/3 = 32 posts
so the cost of posts is
32*32 = $1024.00
add the fence price to the posts price you get the total cost as
432 + 1024 = $1456.00
,,.,.,.|||Fence = root576 x 4 x 4.5=432
Posts = (root576/3) x 4 x 32= 1024
Sorry! Imissed the Square area note first!
If you go on EBay though you can get it cheaper!|||area = s^2
576 ft^2 = s^2
s = 24 ft
P = 4s = 4(24) = 96 ft
cost of fence = (96 ft )($4.50 / ft) = $432
cost of post = (96 ft / 3 ft)(32) = $1024
total cost = $432 + $1024 = $1456
=)|||Hej lalabt,
a square of 576 sq.ft. has sides of length 24 ft.
So the fencing costs 24 x $4.50.
On one side of 24 ft. you need 8 posts (check that!)
4 sides, so you need 4 X 8 = 32 posts.of $32 each, so...|||Area of a square is a^2
so a=24 (sqrroot(576)).
now the perimeter of the square is
4a
so
fencing 4*24 feet costs,
4*24*4.50=$432
now no of posts needed = perimeter/3
=4*24/3=32
hence cost for the posts = 32*32=$1024
so
the total cost = 1024+432=$1456
