How do i find out who owns the fencing around my garden?

I have fencing to the left , right and at the back i live in the uk|||Ask your neighbors, as easy as that.|||its hard to explain but the side that is being fenced out does not own the fence, but the best people to ask is your council, if you have a problem with a bordering fence then ask the house that the border is with, good luck|||Call the city hall|||not sure about laws in UK but in Texas U.S.A the side that the post are on show owner ship|||Go and see a solicitor, they can tell you your boundaries.|||usually the owner has the fence posts on his side of the fence.|||You can ask your neighbours, or your Council. Good luck.|||contact the land registry|||If you think the fence is privately owned and the finished side is facing your property, then the supports and %26quot;back%26quot; of the fence belong to your neighbour. Otherwise, start knocking on doors and failing that, call the city.|||the fence to your left as you look away from your house (front or back) is your responsibility and so is the fence at the end of your garden, best to check with the council though|||If you own your house it will be on your deeds. If the building society has them (they usually do if you have a mortgage) then get in touch with them and see if they will photcopy the relevent page for you. Other wise google %26#039;land registry%26#039; and you may have to pay a fee of about 拢4. You can obtain a copy of your deeds that way|||ok fence posts on your side means very little that really just shows who put up the fence last as the person who built it or paid for it to be built will have the cladding on there side obviously,

your deeds will show who owns the fence.|||Check out this link, I have had a similar question recently and you should get some answers in here.|||SPEAK TO THE OTHER RESIDENTS,OR ASK YOUR LOCAL COUNCIL IF THEY OWN THE PROPERTY.
