How much does fencing cost?

I am interested in starting the sport fencing,

how much approx. does it cost to start? like all the equipment you need, plus classes?|||It depends if you are doing sabre, epee, or foil... sabre equipment, in general, is less expensive than epee or foil equipment. It is better to borrow equipment from your club until you are sure that you want to continue fencing, but when you must buy your own gear, www.absolutefencinggear.com is a good place to get a decent price on beginner and practice equipment. Practice sets cost about $110, and, if you plan to compete, you will, of course, need to buy some more expensive equipment. Fencing lessons range from free to $50 per class...|||well, most started sets run around $200 bucks with all of the stuff you need to start. If you are just starting though, you might want to hold off on spending the money until you know you want to fence. Most clubs will let you use their gear when you start out. The club that i started out in was free, but if they do charge something, it%26#039;s usually fairly cheap. Have fun fencing!!
