I installed 200 ft. of chain link fencing, and now I need something to cover for privacy?

My neighbor is jealous and from hell, so please offer sound suggestions. I thought the material that construction sites have with the grommets attached would be good, but haven%26#039;t been able to locate it. Asap, please! Would like to do this weekend. thx.|||There are strips, I think they are made of vinyl or some kind of plastic that you weave into the links of the fence. I don%26#039;t know what they%26#039;re called or where to get them and you may have to install them before you tighten the fence. I have seen them mainly around swimming pools. The person who installed your fence should know. If not try a local place tha sells fencing.|||Plywood sheets would work. Paint or varnish them to protect them from the weather. For a more attractive appearance, start vines growing at the base of the fence, and in time they%26#039;ll cover it, and you can take the plywood down.|||The construction sites use Landscaping %26quot;cloth%26quot; designed for weed/grass barriers in flower beds etc. Landscaping suppliers Also have Shade Cloth used to protect small trees and plants from frost/extreme sun. It comes in 30% to 85% shade yet still lets the wind blow through so it does`nt act like a sail. The heavier % the more it Will act as a sail `tho (i.e the aforementioned construction site cloth). You`ll find this online if your local Landscape supplys does`nt have it. Some on ebay Now. You can get it with grommets already sewn in or DIY. And even the Lighter % cloth is next to impossible to see through, esp from any distance at all. Good luck with it.

RT|||wood|||I used bamboo fencing and then wired it to the fence. Comes in 60 foot rolls. I then sprayed a sealer on it and its worked great for two years now.

It looks great from both sides and we actually transformed our garden into a tropical theme complete with palm trees etc.

Be carefull when shopping around, the price varies to the extreme. I found the same material with a 300% difference in cost. (found that the local hardware store could special order the cheapest)|||Contact where you bought the fence and ask them.|||This is just my opinion but it personally think the vinyl strips look tacky and cheap, plus the sun breaks them down, they get dirty, and if you trim around them with a weedeater the Debri knocks holes in it. However, you may try to plant some fast growing vine plants on the fence for privacy. Say a cucumber, simply plant five times more then you need and throw away any not eat. Then go ahead and plant some other type of vine or ivy along the fence that is a perennial that can take over permanently after the cucumber is gone.|||Well if it is chain link then whom ever sold it to you should have or be able to get the plastic strips that can be slid into the chain links and it comes in different colors. the bad thing is it does look cheap and if you live up north at winter time it will become britle and break. next would be a leafy vine, i had one and in the summer they grow fast and cover everything they can cling to. so i would check with a landscaper supplier and fine some fast growing vines.
