What's the most inexpensive way of fencing a backyard? Besides pressure treated wood/pine wood?

I hear pressure treated wood/pine only last a few years, unless you maintain it by staining/painting/coating it with protective paint. Just looking for other options.|||Pine tree saplings cost less than $1.00 each and grow into a very nice fence in about 5 - 10 years.|||Probably the cheapest and yet fairly durable method I%26#039;d suggest are t-posts and %26quot;no climb%26quot; mesh wire. Both are available at the big box home improvement stores in a variety of lengths and heights. No concrete required. Not the most attractive fence but effective and long lasting. Uhmmmmmm...the new pressure treated wood definitely lasts longer than just a few years. A little maintenance only adds to the longevity. You might want to consider redwood lumber or vinyl as alternatives but these won%26#039;t be inexpensive.|||Imaginary lines. Lol.

I%26#039;d use cheap, metal-based fencing.|||the cheepest priced is to use HogWire.|||chainlink fencing or a dense hedge may be options...|||Try a Vinyl or decrotive aliminum fencing. Your local hardware store (home depot or lowes) should have the different types on display. These two are not as cheap as chain link but are more atractive (also some communities are banning new chainlink fences, check your zoning)
