Square meter, How much fencing do I need?

I have just been accepted for an allotment plot 120sq meters. I want to get organised and buy some wire fencing to go around the outside. Only been able to pop down for a quick look and am guesstimating that the shorter ends are about 2.5meters long.

How much fencing do I need?

Thanks in advance|||IF it%26#039;s 120 sq Metres area and 2.5m wide the length must be 48m so its 48 +48 + 2.5 + 2.5 = 101Metres.

P.S Length x Breadth = Area so 2.5 x 48 = 120

PPS Big mistake there podge. lol Aww he changed it.|||2.5 x 48 = 120 therefore the sides of the allotment are around 48 metres.

So you will need 2 x 48 plus 2 x 2.5 metres.

= 96 + 5 metres

= 101 metres.

Since the 2.5 metres is a guesstimate I would make that at least 110 metres.|||If you are correct that the shorter dimensions are 2.5m the longer sides will be 48m (48m x 2.5m = 120 sq.m)

The fencing required to encircle this will,therefore, be (2x48)+(2x2.5).

This is 96+5 = 101meters.

It sure will be a strange allotment!
