Can posts from chain link fencing be recycled?

A friend took down a dog kennel and is keeping the chain link fence, but offered my the posts/poles if I wanted to take them to be recycled...I%26#039;m just not sure if they CAN be recycled and the local company isn%26#039;t answering the phone. Anyone know the answer out there?|||call your local recycleing place, tell them you have galvanised steel posts and such, and would they take them.
