How does olympic fencing and olympic shooting work, what are the rules and what happens?

Olympic Fencing- Competition 3 types of Fencing weapons Foil, epee, and Sabre. Bouts are held on a 14- metre by 1.5 metre piste, or playing area. Through wires and special clothing , fencers are connected to an electronic scoring system that indicates if a hit has occurred.





Each competition has a direct-elimination format. Team consists of three fencers, and each duels each member of the opposing team.

Olympic Shooting- At the Olympics there are 15 events: 6 for women and nine for men.





The shooting events are divided into 3 different groups: rifle, pistol, and shotgun events. The rifle and pistol events are held on shooting ranges with competitors aiming at targets from distances of 10 metres, 25 metres, and 50 metres. The shotgun events see competitors shoot at clay targets propelled in different directions.
