What are the right of way rules in sabre sport fencing?

Also, what are the legal targets?|||1. The right of way (ROW) belongs to whom ever starts the attack first.

2. To take away the ROW, you have to parry(block) or distance parry (usually step back, out of the reach of the attacker)

3. After the parry, your riposte(an attack after your parry) must be immediate.

(Note: in Sabre, the attack %26quot;finishes%26quot; when the front foot lands)

The Target is the Torso(front and back) from the waist up, the Arms excluding the hands, and the Head.

in other words: from the waist up (front and back), excluding the hands.
