Why is there no coverage of the fencing?

I%26#039;ve had to endure uncountable numbers of heats in the pool, horses jumping puddles, people jumping puddles, people beating themselves up, but no fencing.|||It is showing on one of the extra channels, but not prime time coverage|||If you are a fencer, you should be used to this!

The US women%26#039;s saber team had a real shot at medals this time (and swept the individual competition), so they were covered. Last olympics, you only saw men%26#039;s saber--because they were the only Americans with a shot at medals. It%26#039;s the way TV coverage works--if there isn%26#039;t going to be an American in the final and everyone knows it, the cameras have someplace else they need to be--even if it is talking to some athlete%26#039;s mother. The only other fencing you may see on TV this olympics will be in the pentathlon--but then you have to watch more horses too.

There may be more events online but I haven%26#039;t looked for them yet. Fencingfootage.com usually sells tapes of fencing events as well.|||Ive watched fencing on MSNBC about three or four times now. Mostly womens though.|||I watched it yesterday during the afternoon, but it looks like the rest will just be online. It is live right now online.|||there is on, either early in the morning like 1am-5am or like 7am to like 12 either on nbc or msnbc|||I suggest checking on the TV/online listings and find out when it comes on or when its live online.

Hope this helps!
