What is the best type of fencing to support Concorde grape vines & is there any special secret to growing them

They were just put in between the sidewalk %26amp; the south facing wall of a stucco garage. [ BTW..... We do live in Alberta]|||Hi,

Not realy a secret: lots of sun + good soil + water. Plus I use fruit tree spikes for fertilizer.

You can support them on anything that will hold the weight - it really is an aesthetic preference. The local wineries use 4%26quot; posts with steel cable. They make it like a T. We are cheap and lazy and use 4%26quot; posts with 10%26#039; lenghts of 1X4 between them - like a tall split rail fence.

Good Luck
